About the event

About Divine Growth Yoga Therapy

Owner of Divine Growth, Becka Perfitt has been practicing yoga for seven years and has, herself, experienced the healing power of Trauma Informed Yoga. She’s also utilized Trauma Informed Yoga with her adopted twins who both suffer from trauma, autism, and sensory processing disorders. Recognizing the need for this specialized yoga in her community, Becka took the necessary steps to become certified in order to share her expertise with others. Becka received her certification in trauma informed yoga, yoga therapist, aromatherapy, HIPPA compliance.

Becka specializes in facilitating the healing effects of yoga on traumatized individuals and working with families who have been affected by trauma. A unique service Becka provides is in-home family sessions. She also works with clients at her office located 208 N Broadway # 423, Billings, MT 59101. Becka’s therapeutic yoga style is gentle, lighthearted, and encouraging. Her forms are appropriate for every level of practitioner allowing participants to feel accomplished and validated.

Perhaps the most crucial piece to Becka’s success is her own experiences and life story. Growing up in Wyoming, she dealt with feelings of inadequacy and rejection while moving through the foster care system. Through a divine journey of healing, Becka has come to believe one of the greatest gifts she can give the world is to facilitate healing and restoration.

"I’ve created a retreat for women just like me: women, who have survived trauma, are raising kids with trauma, or working with children recovering from trauma. I’m a Christian who believes that trauma can be alleviated when we nurture our body, mind, and spirit. I know what it feels like to be so tired, so scattered, and so undone by interfacing with trauma that you feel inside out and empty. I have created a weekend for engaging in the therapeutic work of reconnecting your body, mind, and spirit. The goal of my retreat is to calm your mind, nourish your body, and restore your spirit."

Your weekend retreat will include s'mores by the fire, catered breakfasts, lunches and Saturday night dinner. Coffee or tea will be available all day.

For those who wish to enhance the relaxation component of the weekend, Acupuncture with (Allison Wolfstar) 45$ full 60min treatment or 30$ 45min. Allison will also offer yoni steaming for $25, learn more here

Massage therapist(Nicole Mudro with Montana message and wellness) will be onsite and available throughout the weekend. Time slots for chair or table massages are 20, 40, or 60 minutes in length with a fee of $1/minute.
